Sierra Vista is centrally located being only 10 minutes west off SH1 and at the north end of the Waimakariri River bridge. We are close to vineyards, restaurants and shops with ski fields being as near as 50 minutes. Christchurch city centre is only 25 minutes away to the south east and the Alpine village of Hanmer Springs with its Thermal Reserve Hot Pools is within 1 hour to the north. Other attractions and activities from horse riding to shearing sheep and garden tours plus many more can be arranged. Scenic train trips (some being old steam engines) and river boat excursions are also close at  hand.
